Direct Messaging and associated pre-requisite criteria: 170.315.d.1, 170.315.d.2, 170.315.d.3, 170.315.g.4, 170.315.g.5, 170.315.h.2 | Encrypted e-mail using the Direct protocol to/from trusted endpoints, accessible via web-based e-mail client. Ability to enroll users (assign addresses) and manage necessary security certificates. Access to a Provider Directory of Direct addresses. | Software subscription fee (annual) to include a maximum number of concurrent Direct addresses and/or web client users; hosting and maintenance fees (annual); implementation and training fee (onetime). Includes certificate for single legal entity; additional certificates for additional legal entities extra. Geographical, volume/usage cost considerations not applicable. XDR connections to third-party systems optional and available for a one-time setup fee on a per-connection basis. | Contract required to purchase, which may impose limitations on the usage of the solution, business practices, and/or data contained or generated. Not necessary to engage with third-party unless software is purchased by an intermediary organization (such as an HIE) who makes the functionality available to end users, in which case contracting between the intermediary organization and end user may be required. | The Health Catalyst HISP is a multi-tenant software solution, meaning there is a single production environment shared by all customers; therefore extremely heavy message volume from one customer could impact message delivery times for all customers. Software subscription fee to include a maximum number of concurrent Direct addresses and/or web client users. Functionality stipulates Direct exchange with “trusted” endpoints – endpoints that are hosted by a HISP included in the DirectTrust bundle or who have a HISP-HISP agreement in place with Health Catalyst. |
