Simeon 'Sim' Kohl

Simeon ‘Sim' Kohl is Chief Executive Officer and President of Health Catalyst and serves on the Company's Board of Directors. Sim is a growth-minded leader with more than 20 years of executive management experience in healthcare technology, including public-company leadership as a seasoned CEO of Nasdaq-listed companies. He brings a track record of leading technology-enabled services businesses through strategic transformation and operational scale across regulated, complex operating environments.

Sim approaches leadership as a builder, pairing a commitment to improving healthcare with a focus on building durable, high-performing companies. He leads Health Catalyst's AI-driven healthcare intelligence mission to drive measurable improvements in cost, quality, and outcomes for health systems.

Sim came to Health Catalyst from Machinify, an AI-powered healthcare payment integrity solution, where he served as Chief Client Officer. He arrived at Machinify through its acquisition of Performant Healthcare (Nasdaq: PHLT), where he served as CEO of the public healthcare company and led it through significant strategic and operational transformation over the course of 13 years, culminating in its successful sale to Machinify for approximately $670 million.

Earlier in his career, Sim spent more than 20 years at HOPS International, a SaaS-based technology company providing revenue-enhancement and cost-management solutions, where he advanced his career to President and CEO.
