Jill Hoggard Green, PhD, RN, FAAN is a nationally acclaimed healthcare executive with over 40 years of experience in nursing and healthcare leadership. Most recently, Dr. Hoggard Green served as President and CEO of The Queen's Health System in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she led the state's largest health system to expand its market share and improve quality and safety, all while navigating the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Hoggard Green's career has focused on creating innovative regional networks of care to serve both urban and rural communities while improving quality, safety, patient experience and population health.

Before joining Queen’s, Dr. Hoggard Green served as Chief Operating Officer of Mission Health and President of Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. Mission Health is a $2 billion, 12,000-employee health system comprised of six hospitals, including a 770-bed teaching hospital; multiple ambulatory care facilities; an 800+ provider group practice; a $100+ million post-acute providers; a health plan; and related services. In 2018, for the sixth time in the previous seven years, Mission Health was named one of the nation’s Top 15 Health Systems by IBM Watson Health.

Earlier in her career, Dr. Hoggard Green served as Operating Officer in the Oregon Region of Peace Health, which included three hospitals, over 600 medical staff members, over 200 employed clinicians, and 4,500 caregivers. She also spent more than 15 years at Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, Utah, a nationally recognized, vertically integrated not-for-profit health system.

A registered nurse whose career includes work with the oncology and bone marrow transplant units at a Level I trauma facility and at leading hospitals, ambulatory, and home health services in Utah, Oregon, North Carolina and Hawaii, Dr. Hoggard Green has dedicated her life to improving patient care.

Dr. Hoggard Green holds a PhD focused in Healthcare Leadership and Quality, an MS in Nursing Healthcare Leadership, and a BSN, all from the University of Utah College of Nursing. She has been honored with numerous awards, including being named one of Becker's Hospital Review's "60 Health System CEO Influencers" in 2023 and one of Modern Healthcare's "50 Most Influential Clinical Executives" in 2021. She is a Trustee at The Joint Commission. In 2024, Dr Hoggard Green became the Chair of the Trustees for Joint Commission Resources and Joint Commission International. In addition in 2024, Dr. Hoggard Green was inducted as a Fellow into The American Academy of Nursing.
