This is the second-year TIME and Statista have run the ranking, and Health Catalyst has made the list back-to-back since its launch.
The list recognizes 500 HealthTech companies from more than 30 countries across six market segments: AI & Data Analytics, Diagnostics, Health Information & Management, Medical Devices & Wearables, Prevention, and Telehealth & Treatment.
The ranking is built from three factors. Financial performance carries 50% of the overall score and looks at verified indicators like revenue, employee count, and disclosed funding. Reputation analysis carries 30% and draws on publicly available digital content, including media coverage, blogs, forums, and social media. Online engagement makes up the remaining 20%, based on website-traffic performance over the past 24 months.
