Health Catalyst, a healthcare intelligence company designed to accelerate measurable improvement for health systems, has been named one of America's Most Innovative Businesses 2027 by Business Insider.
The list, produced by Business Insider and Plant-A Insights Group, recognizes companies on three measures: reputation among industry peers, patent-based impact, and R&D investment.
Business Insider screened more than 4,000 publicly traded U.S. companies using patent data and financial metrics, then narrowed the field to over 1,600 companies with at least 1,000 employees for a nationwide survey conducted between April and October 2025. To qualify, companies had to operate as independent legal entities, be listed on the NYSE or Nasdaq since 2020, and be headquartered in the United States.
Business Insider and Plant-A Insights Group also used the Critical Mention platform from Onclusive to screen for corporate wrongdoing between August 2024 and August 2026, running multiple rounds of media monitoring to validate the results. The 500 highest-scoring companies made the final list.
