Health Catalyst Named a Best Place to Work in Healthcare for Sixth Year in a Row

Company is one of only 10 healthcare vendors named to Modern Healthcare list six years in a row; also recognized for “Family Friendly” workplace culture

SALT LAKE CITY – October 1, 2018Health Catalyst, a next-generation data, analytics, and decision-support company, has been honored for the sixth year in a row as one of Modern Healthcare’s “Best Places to Work in Healthcare.”

Now in its 11th year, the award program identifies and recognizes outstanding employers in the healthcare industry nationwide. Modern Healthcare partners with the Best Companies Group on the assessment process, which includes an extensive employee survey.

Health Catalyst is among just 10 of the hundreds of healthcare vendors surveyed since 2007 to make the list for six years or more. The company placed No. 4 among medium-sized companies and No. 43 overall in the survey’s supplier category, which ranks suppliers of products or services to healthcare organizations.  Additionally, Health Catalyst placed No. 3 among suppliers for having nurtured a “Family Friendly” workplace culture that is conducive to “the flexibility and benefit requirements of today’s family,” according to Modern Healthcare.

“We are honored to be recognized again by Modern Healthcare as one of the best employers in the healthcare industry,” said Dan Burton, CEO of Health Catalyst. “Our mission is to be a catalyst for massive, sustained improvements in healthcare outcomes. A central part of fulfilling that goal involves attracting and retaining talented team members—individuals who share our mission, enthusiasm and commitment. We appreciate every team member for the great work they perform every day, in an effort to improve healthcare outcomes.”

The Modern Healthcare ranking is the latest in a string of workplace awards based on anonymous Health Catalyst team member surveys.  Other “best place to work” awards received by Health Catalyst this year include:

  • The 2018 Gallup Great Workplace Award. For the third year in a row, Health Catalyst is one of 39 global companies to receive the award, which was created to recognize organizations for their ability to create engaged workplace cultures that drive business outcomes.
  • Inc. magazine’s Top 50 Best Workplaces for 2017. For the second year in a row, Health Catalyst was named to the list of the nation’s best private companies.
