Health Catalyst’s Dan Burton Named a 2021 Glassdoor Highest-Rated CEO
For the third time, Health Catalyst CEO Dan Burton has won a Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award honoring the Top CEOs in 2021. Glassdoor’s Top CEOs list highlights leaders that employees love working for in countries throughout North America and parts of Europe.
Across the approximately 1.5 million employers reviewed on Glassdoor, the average CEO approval rating is 73 percent, while Burton’s ranking stands at 92 percent. Burton’s impressive approval rating is based on the anonymous and voluntary reviews Health Catalyst team members shared on Glassdoor throughout the past year.
“Dan is a world-class executive who defines the meaning of servant-leader,” said Linda Llewelyn, Chief People Officer at Health Catalyst. “He has been a trusted and reassuring voice to team members over the past pandemic year and is courageous in the pursuit of our mission to improve healthcare. We are grateful for his leadership and congratulate him on this achievement.”
Over the past year, Burton has steered Health Catalyst through the challenging business environment the COVID pandemic created in 2020. Health Catalyst committed to no COVID-related layoffs during the year, acquired three healthcare technology companies, launched nine COVID-specific capabilities, and increased its team members to more than 1,000. Further, Health Catalyst maintained its industry-leading Gallup engagement and team member satisfaction score, measuring in the 96th percentile.
“Over the past year, company leaders around the world faced unprecedented challenges to support employees during the COVID-19 crisis. Now, the employees have spoken and it’s clear that these CEOs excelled and found new ways to support their people when the world of work flipped upside down,” said Christian Sutherland-Wong, Glassdoor chief executive officer. “Through a challenging year, it’s inspiring to see Top CEOs who, according to their employees, adapted to change, redefined visions and led with transparency while putting the health and safety of employees first. I extend my sincerest congratulations to this year’s Employees’ Choice Award winners.”
