Health Catalyst Brand Gets a Refresh

Welcome to our new website and our new name. These changes are the result of interacting with many of you, our clients, over the past year. Our founders started this company four years ago with the premise of helping health systems improve quality outcomes using data. Healthcare Quality Catalyst was a good “technically accurate” description of our company.

But many of you have pointed out frequently that our name was difficult to say and remember. It was a mouthful and even at times, a tongue twister. So we listened and decided to make things simpler.

Our new name is Health Catalyst. We’re the same team with the same healthcare data warehouse and business intelligence products. But we’ve shortened the name to represent two important things that matter:

“Health,” because at the core of our company is a passion to help each of our health system clients to use their data to improve the healthcare that they provide.

Health Catalyst keeps the idea that data is the spark that can ignite organizational insight and improvement, the catalyst that can ignite lasting change. Using our products and services, health systems can aggregate their disparate data from different systems into a single source of truth to get operational, financial, and clinical answers, fast. This is our heritage.

Our healthcare data warehouse deserved a new brand too

Along with a new name, we have developed a new logo, tag line, and this new website.

Our new Health Catalyst logo retains many of the values embodied in the word “catalyst”. It is a visual representation of change, of progress, of energy, of hope and continuous improvement.

“Ignite Change” is our new tag line. It further focuses our ultimate promise to you—to enable you to survive and thrive in the ever-changing healthcare environment by championing the very changes your organization needs.

Our new website has been rebuilt to focus on the successes of our clients which are many and growing at an exciting pace. You’ll see additional case studies, testimonials and ROI evidence of the success that they are having.

We hope that these changes make it easier for us to communicate the value that we can bring to health systems today. We are fortunate to be partnering with leading health system clients who realize the fundamental value of data to change care. They are reaping ongoing benefits, some of which include improved operational reporting, better care as clinical teams organize around best practices and drive out inefficiencies, and reduced costs due to waste reduction. We’re proud to announce that we’ve recently added IU Health to that list.
