ACG Utah Presents its 2019 Deal Maker of the Year Award to Health Catalyst

SALT LAKE CITY – March 10, 2020 – ACG Utah has a long tradition of honoring dealmakers in the Utah business community—those who have successfully led the charge in driving growth in their organizations. With a focus on helping “Businesses Grow Here,” ACG Utah reviewed the middle-market mergers and acquisition transactions that occurred in Utah during 2019, seeking deals that involved Utah companies, Utah capital providers, Utah lenders and Utah advisors. For 2019, the Utah company that clearly met these criteria was Health Catalyst, Inc. (“Health Catalyst,” Nasdaq: HCAT).

On July 25, 2019, Health Catalyst celebrated the realization of a successful IPO, resulting in the sale of 8,050,000 shares of common stock priced at $26 per share for total aggregate net proceeds of approximately $190 million.

“It is an honor for Health Catalyst to receive this meaningful recognition from ACG Utah,” said Dan Burton, Chief Executive Officer of Health Catalyst. “Our ability to successfully take the company public is the result of our team members’ dedication and commitment to transforming healthcare through data-driven clinical, financial and operational improvements. We are grateful to each of the healthcare organizations we serve for the trust they place in us as we work together to fulfill our mission to be the catalyst for massive, measurable, data-informed healthcare improvement.”
