Eric Denna, PhD

Eric Denna joined Health Catalyst in 2017 as a Senior Vice President. Prior to coming to Health Catalyst, he worked for The University of Maryland, College Park as Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer. Prior to the University of Maryland, Eric was CIO at The University of Utah, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Brigham Young University, and Times Mirror Higher Education Group. Eric has also been chief operating officer of The RBL Group, senior VP at Ascent Media. He has consulted around the world with many for-profit and not-for-profit clients. He is also a very accomplished author and researcher. He is also on the board of various organizations and is an active investor/advisor in the startup industry. Eric has a master’s degree in information systems from Brigham Young University and a PhD from Michigan State University in Information Systems.
