Job Summary
The Director of Education will own the onboarding educational process for employees, develop and implement the curriculum at Catalyst University used by employees and clients, manage and educate the trainers at customer sites, and assist Catalyst clients in implementing their own training programs. This person will oversee Channel training, and be responsible for global training, role specific training, local client orientation, and on the job training.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the following training types:
- Global training – Training given to every team member during the initial onboarding process
- Line of business or Role specific training – understanding the various roles in the company, and catering specific training for those needs
- Local client orientation – creating orientation processes for employees as they are newly assigned to customers, so that the local needs, objectives and nuances of that particular client are well understood
- On the job training – ongoing internal training and peer coaching (quarterly updates to global, role based and local training)
- Assist in the recruiting evaluation process
- Measure effectiveness of the existing trainings and ideas on how to improve
- Teach coaching and mentoring techniques
- Organize and oversee peer to peer coaching, and mentorship program
- Solicit feedback from customers, modify Catalyst University curriculum based on feedback
- Measure Catalyst University return on investment
- Survey team members training effectiveness
- Measure curriculum completion and comprehension
- Measure improvement in on-the-job performance before and after training
- Evaluate impact of training on meeting company business objectives
- Manage Catalyst University’s learning management system
Education & Relevant Experience
College degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Behavior, etc. is preferred
5 years of experience in healthcare is preferred
5 years curriculum design is preferred
Graduation from a quality training program is desired (example: Disney University or Intermountain Healthcare Advanced Training Program in Quality Improvement)
